KAMAL heavy duty Ammonia compressors are designed for industrial and commercial refrigeration applications such as Cold Storage, Ice Plants, Dairies, Fisheries, Chemical Plants and air conditioning etc. There are available in size 5½ X 5½ to 7½ X 7½ and cover the capacity range of 11TR to 55TR.
- Each KAMAL Compressors consists of by pass system forced feed lubrication system, flywheel for compressor, motor pulley, special tools, foundation bolts etc.
CONSTRUCTION DETAILS
Compressor : Two cylinder single acting, high efficiency, quiet operation and long life attained by accurate machining and close inspection of each part. Cylinders are diamond bored and honed of resulting in absolutely round, accurately aligned bores with mirror like finish.
Pistons : Highest grade cast iron pistons accurately machined and balanced. These are equipped with 5 rings including two oil scrapper rings to remove excess oil.
Crank Shaft : Heavy forged steel with ground and lapped bearings surface and drilled oil passages to all bearings, statically balanced.
Connecting Rods : Made from high quality steel with bearings and oil passage for free movement of oil.

Compressor Shaft Seal : Compressor shaft seal is easily accessible. Simple design and easy to assemble.
Water Jacket : To provide more effective cooling the water jacket completely surrounds the cylinder heads.
Valves : All Kamal : Compressors are equipped with Ring Plate Suction and Discharge Valves which are light in weight and are more efficient.
Manifold : Steel fabricated Consists of suction, Discharge by-pass and safety valves which are manually operated by-pass valve equalizes the pressure between high and low side of Compressor for easy starting.
